Well, I did it. Covered more ground than most of my messages. (of course I had to leave of couple points for a future message) This week we will be looking at Acts 14:8-18. I actually cameup with a sermon title, "The Importance of Being Human'. Come and join us I think you will enjoy this weeks message. We will be producing CD's of the services from now on. If you would like one mailed to you just give us a call. Grace and Peace, Mark

Greetings,
A few weeks ago I took my semiannual trek to the Doctor. Once again, it seems as if, they took a quart or so of my blood to tell me my cholesterol numbers were too high. On the next visit I was awarded a really good read called, “Guidelines for a Healthy Heart”. So what in the world does this story have to do with Hopewell? We are all about having a healthy heart! The strategy for a physically healthy heart is the same for our spiritual heart.
The book begins with eating habits. We understand that what we eat directly affects our health. I think we often forget, (at least I know I do) that the ideas we put into our minds, determines our spiritual health! The book also recommends I join a health club and even consider hiring a personal trainer! Think of Hopewell as a spiritual health club. Finally, a healthy heart requires making correct decisions every day, about the actions we take, and the foods we eat. Having a heart that is healthy towards God takes the same guidelines. We need to make sure Gods principles are taught to us, our kids and even our grandkids. We invite you to join us on Sunday’s at 10:30am. If you can’t make it on Sunday join us on Tuesdays, during the school year, at 6:30pm, for a relaxed Bible Study. Come on over and work on your heart as we work on ours!
Grace & Peace,
Pastor Mark Miller
